After starting his career in France in Michelin stared restaurants and luxury
hotels, Bertrand gained further experience across Europe in the French
Navy as the commander’s personal chef aboard aircraft carrier
Clemenceau and for embassies as executive chef.
In 1999, he set up Ideal Party and started catering for private functions,
corporate and embassies in London. Resulting from an ever growing
reputation, since 2010 Bertrand developed his service Pret-a-Recevoir
(“Your party ready to serve”).
Ideal Party’s success relies in an expertise in the art of cooking and
bespoke service with high standards.
